We present an application of such an approach to a speciﬁc prediction problem faced by the agent TacTex06 in the Trading Agent Competition’s Supply Chain Management scenario (TAC SCM). 1 Introduction In this paper, we present an adaptive approach used in the TAC SCM competition that is based on learning from simulations of various agent combinations. We describe a speciﬁc prediction problem faced by TacTex-06 (winner of the 2006 competition), present the learning approach taken, and evaluate the eﬀectiveness of this approach through analysis of the competition results.
